The Heart Behind Life of Riley – Inspired by Riley Roo

 

Here at Life of Riley Pet Bakery & Boutique, we understand just how important it is to know exactly what’s in the food you give your dog — because that’s how our journey began.

Riley, our beloved boy and the namesake of our business, lived a long and happy life. But it wasn’t always smooth. When he was 7, Riley suddenly became unwell, and after urgent vet visits and extensive testing, we discovered he had several severe food intolerances — including pork, beef, rabbit and eggs.

We were shocked. Riley had been with us since he was a pup — over 6 years — and we had no idea that the store-bought dog treats we’d been giving him were slowly making him sick.

Our vet warned us that continuing with the wrong foods could weaken Riley’s immune system and damage his organs. We had to act — fast. We couldn’t imagine a life without our Riley Roo, and we knew we had to do better for him.

That’s when Life of Riley was born. We started baking our own natural dog treats, made with limited ingredients, no artificial nasties, and absolutely no common allergens. We focused on creating grain-free dog treats that were gentle on sensitive stomachs, yet still full of joy and flavour — because Riley deserved the best.

Today, Riley may no longer be with us, but his legacy lives on in every biscuit we bake. Our treats are handcrafted with care, made for dogs who need a little extra love when it comes to their food — and for pawrents who want peace of mind with every bite.
