Discover what goes into Life of Riley dog treats — and what stays out. Our natural, plant-based recipes are approved by an experienced pet-food nutritionist.
Every Life of Riley biscuit — and even our dog-friendly ice cream — is approved by our nutritionist, Emma, who brings more than 30 years of pet-food experience to our recipes. We keep our ingredients simple, purposeful and easy for owners to understand.
Our recipes focus on natural, grain-free and plant-based ingredients while leaving out many animal-derived ingredients commonly avoided by owners of sensitive dogs.
From our peanut butter to our colourful toppings, each ingredient is selected for its quality, purpose and dog-friendly appeal.
Our peanut butter contains roasted peanuts and nothing else. There is no added salt, sugar or oil, and no xylitol.
We use high-quality organic Grade A coconut as part of our naturally delicious bakery-style recipes.
We spent more than four years developing our distinctive sugar-free icing. It is gently infused with prebiotics and gives our treats their unmistakable bakery finish.
Turmeric, chia seeds, beetroot, blueberry, strawberry, maca and carob help us create naturally colourful treats without relying on unnecessary artificial extras.
Emma has more than 30 years of experience in pet food and reviews our biscuits and dog-friendly ice cream. Her expertise helps us combine bakery-style creativity with thoughtfully selected ingredients.
Our approach is simple:
